I think I need to clarify what information I am seeking, in regard to my 3rd great-grandfather, JAMES HAMILTON (born 1793 in Ireland and died on 26 September 1836 in Ohio). He married MARGARET KEENAN. She was born date Unknown in Ireland. She died on 26 September 1836 in Ohio. I am seeking information on both his parents and hers. There is some suggestion that his father may be JAMES HAMILTON (04/27/1755 TO 09/10/1833) and his mother was ELIZABETH PITMAN (born 1767), but I have been unable to find any source to help confirm this.
I have not found any information on ELIZABETH PITMAN or her parents.
