I am trying to make connection between my great-grandfather, Edward Sagar(Sager) and the Dyer family. When my grandfather was young (1910) the family lived on Brown Rd. in Jackson Twp.,Franklin County. They were farmers and neighbors of the John Dyer family who were land owners. If you go back to 1880 census, Dyers and Sagers were neighbors in Hardy, West Virginia. Lucinda Dyer did marry Levi Sager and lived in Franklin County in 1870 and 1880. They had a son William Edward Sager. I am trying to figure out if William is the same as Edward Sager in 1910 census. William died in 1913 and his obit did not shed much light. Anyway if this sounds familar to anyone please let me know.
