That's funny that you are looking for Holland! I just finished my sister-in-law's pedigree comprised mostly of colonial personalities (Rev War) from Maryland who trailed through KY ending up in Indiana. Those families are GOOTEE and RANEY.
Regarding the Bush family, Samuel Bush's parents were both born in PA, although Samuel was born in VA 1800. He must have been a pioneer in Fairfield Co., as he was a landowner in 1820. His son, Daniel, was born about 1826. Daniel's son, Samuel J., was born 12/1844 and married Mary E. Vagnier, the daughter of my Grt Grt Grand Aunt, Catharine Schneider Vagnier (born Fairfield Co. OH). Catharine was the daughter of my German immigrant Grt Grt Grandfather, Johannes (John)Schneider. He immigrated to America with his parents and sister in 1848 from Hoppstaedten Germany.
