Looking for any information regarding my gg-grandfather, WILLIAM MCDONALD

Married to a MARGARET E. (last name unknown) in Walnut township, Fairfield County, OH on October 15, 1857.

John Frederick or Frederick J.. I have seen it listed both ways (abt. 1876)

Inni (my g-grandfather) as well as Margaret E. are buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newark, OH. According to the 1870 & 1880 census the family resided in Licking County.

The 1880 Census also reports that his mother was from Scotland and his father from Ireland. whereas Margaret's parents both were born in VA.

Margaret died 11 Aug 1923.
