I'm going to make an educated guess that the grandmother you mentioned is William and Zelica's daughter Jennie. If I am correct, then we are cousins!

Jennie's brother Charles William ALLEN is my great-great-grandfather. His daughter (Wilma) had my grandmother (Mary) who had my mother (Joy).

I doubt you are still battling the same brick wall you were 8 years ago when you posted your query, and while I do have a bit of infomation on the ancestry of William and Zelica, I am currenltly facing a wall of my own just a generation or two beyond them.

2. Sarah Zelica HAND, born 15 Feb 1843 in Seneca, Ohio, United States; died 02 Apr 1909 in Clyde, Sandusky, Ohio, United States. She was the daughter of 5. Edward A. HAND and 6. Hulda E. GEORGE.


3. Hiram ALLEN, born 1821 in New York, United States. He married 4. Elizabeth WHITE.


4. Elizabeth WHITE, born 06 Jan 1830 in New York, United States; died 20 Oct 1915 in Sandusky, Erie, Ohio, United States. She was the daughter of Elie WHITE.


5. Edward A. HAND, born 1807 in New York, United States; died 20 Jul 1882 in Clyde, Sandusky, Ohio, United States. He married 6. Hulda E. GEORGE.


6. Hulda E. GEORGE, born Abt. 1820 in New York, United States; died 08 Jun 1898 in Sandusky, Ohio, United States.
