I have two concerns. 1) my ancestors are buried in Schliesser Cemetery in Defiance of Henry County. Does anyone know where Schliesser Cemetery is? I suspect it is a family cemetery. My two ancestors were buried there in the 1870s. 2) Does anyone have access to the records of St. John's Lutheran Church in Defiance? And could you do a look-up for me? I live in Hawaii . . . My maternal ancestors were the Spadholtz family from near Jewell. I am going to Germany in July and am looking for all relatives, past and present. There was a Friedrich Spatholt or Spadholtz in Defiance (name spelled Sütholc in 1880; Svadholtz in 1900; Suodholtz in 1910, Gerdholz in 1920). His wife's name was Maggie or Margaret Schatz.
