On Thanksgiving day I was given about 30 letters that were written between 1864 and 1872. The letters are in very good condition (although a few are faded and difficult to read), considering their age! Most of the letters are between Jacob Adams and Sarah Belle Phillips, but they also mention other family members and neighbors as well. The envelopes are addressed; Ayersville, Defiance Co., Ohio. Where is Ayersville? Is there a website that has where I can write for vital records for Ayersville?
