Classification: Query
I list a marriage of David W. Wheeler to Alice Josephine Harter, likely Darke or Preble county, but no date. They had a daughter, Bertha M. Wheeler, born 1876 in Preble county. Bertha married Frank Laurimore.
Obit: Bertha Laurimore Dies At 101; Mrs. Bertha Laurimore, age 101, 215 West Water St., died Saturday afternoon at Rest Haven Nursing Home following an illness of one year. She was the widow of Frank Laurimore who died in 1947. Together the couple operated a popular restaurant in Greenville for a period of 33 years. She was the daughter of David and Alice (Harter) Wheeler. A member of the First Presbyterian Church, she was also a charter member of the Criterion Club. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mary Cooke of Birmingham, Michigan as well as a grandson, Martin Laurimore, of Coldwater, Michigan and a granddaughter, Ann, a teacher in Germany. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, plus nieces and nephews. Two nephews are local residents; former Greenville Mayor Daniel Hawley and James Slutterbeck, R.R. Arcanum.
