I am looking for information about engraver Patrick Reason who lived in Cleveland from 1868 or so until his death with his wife Esther.

He was born c. 1815 in NYC and lived there until the late 1860s.

I'm particularly interested in what race he identified himself as.

I only have census records and what I've read on the web, so any other information would be much appreciated.
