Former Local Woman Called
Mrs. Joseph Curtis, aged 72, for many years a resident of Coshocton county, and mother of Mrs. Robert Moore, of Blissfield, and James Curtis, of Spring Mountain, died Sunday afternoon at one o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. William Sondles, of Holmes County. Death was due to pneumonia and followed an illness of about a week.
Mrs. Curtis was born in Sharon, Pa., but spent much of her life in Coshocton county. Ten years ago her husband died and since that time she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Sondles. Besides the son and daughters mentioned, two daughters survive. They are Mrs. Mary Wise, of Fulton county, and Mrs. Jennie SHannon, of Akron.
Funeral services will be held at the Pleasant Hill church Wednesday morning, the cortege leaving the home at ten o'clock. Interment will be made in the Pleasant Hill cemetery.
