I believe we are related (referring to the last query). There was a Lightfoot in my family who changed his name to Wilson. I have heard that he was married and had changed to his name to be married to a 2nd lady.
We are in the Daniel and Annie Weir Lightfoot line. There is Native American in that line, somehow in Rebecca Morningstar Lightfoot Jones. She married Hiram Jones. They later settled and died in Lakeville IN.
