Leon Jones & Christina Miller marriage 1913

Leon Jones and Christina (Tena) Miller were married 22 Sep 1913 but we don't know where. Leon's older brother Louis T. Jones married them - we even have a photo of him marrying them. In a 1965 letter from Louis to Leon, he refers to the wedding as follows: “Often my mind goes back to that pleasant spot in the little country church, Grassy Run, where – in the silent language – it was my privilege to join you and Tena in wedlock. That was, indeed, a precious moment.” Since Leon and Tena were both deaf, I assumed he meant that he married them in sign language. But a researcher from Clermont County, OH said that it may also refer to "silent meetings" of the Quakers. Louis T. Jones was a professor at Earlham College and William Penn College and later Whitter College in Los Angeles. He also wrote a book in 1914 about the Quakers. So this may hold a double meaning when he mentioned "silent language".

I am trying to find any reference to "Grassy Run" or a church nearby where they may have been married. I don't know of any other state besides Ohio where they would have gotten married. I am running into dead ends and could some help.

Thank you.
Sincerely,
Michele Harmon
