My husband's GG is William C. Garrison b abt 1818 Ohio. He first appears in the 1820 Census for Ohio, Clinton Co., Vernon. The census shows quite a few GARRISON's and only the Males are listed by name.

By the 1860 Census, Washington, Black Hawk Co., Iowa, William m 10 Oct 1853 Buchanan, Iowa Emma Jane FAIRBROTHER b 1 Aug 1835 NY/NY/VT and is living in Iowa, Black Hawk Co, Cedar Falls is 40 years old, occuption school teacher with three children born in Iowa; Mary R (6), Edwin M. (3), John (1).

By the 1880 Census, Beaver, Butler Co, Iowa, William (62) a Farmer is still married to Emma Jane FAIRBROTHER and there are more children; John (21), Charles (17) Ida (19), Cora (15), Bertha (13), Della (11), Fred (8) Frank (7), George (4).

I would appreciate information on William C Garrison, particularly details regarding his parents, siblings, etc. in Clinton Co., Ohio.
