ROBINSON SR., Benjamin Marion age 65 of Fairbanks, Alaska departed this life on May 12, 2014 at 7:18 p.m.
Ben fell ill unexpectedly while working at his ranch located in South Vienna, Ohio.

Although he was residing in Fairbanks AK, his plans were to retire to the area later this summer. He was born August 21, 1948 in Springfield, Ohio, a son of William J. and Ethel I. (Marion) Robinson, Sr.
He was the devoted husband of Karen (Berry) Robinson.
Ben began his military career in the Air Force Reserves and later enlisted in the U. S. Army.
He retired after twenty years of honorable service to his country with the rank of Sgt First Class. After he retired from the military, Ben was employed at Fort Knox Gold Mine in Fairbanks, AK for ten years.
He was currently employed at Sumitomo Metal Mining Pogo LLC in Delta Junction, AK.
Benjamin loved horses and especially enjoyed attending rodeos.
He was in the process of fulfilling his dream of running his own ranch complete with horses and other livestock, a fish pond and garden.
Benjamin is survived by his loving family including his wife, Karen; two sons, Benjamin, Jr. and Jason (Erica) both of Reno, NV, and one daughter, Stephanie (Ronald) Robinson of Scott Air Force Base, IL.; siblings, Timothy (Katherine) Robinson, Sr., and Faith (Nathan) Fletcher, both of Springfield, OH; sisters-in-law, Juanita Robinson, Mildred Watkins, Patricia Berry, and Gwen (Bobby) Banks; brothers-in law, Frank (Anita) Berry, Bernard Berry, Reginald (Sheila) Berry, and Elvert (Debra) Berry; grandchildren, Hunter, Jaionna, Jordyn, Keelan, Kaleb, Kyle, Kamryn, Keegan, Janessa, Janaiya, Deyonte, and Kaden and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, William J. Robinson, Jr.; his sister Rebecca (Jesse) Wilkerson; his parents-in-law, Frank and Tecora Berry; sister-in-law, Juanita Berry and brother-in-law, Curtis Berry.

Visitation will be held on Monday May 19, 2014 from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m., at the Church of God, 709 E. Grand Ave., Springfield, Ohio with Elder Ronald M. Cavin officiating.
Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery will full military honors.
