YOUNG, Georgeanne
Was born in Springfield, Ohio on March 4, 1944 to the late Delbert and Chrstine Hardy both deceased.
Georgeanne graduated from Springfield North High and received a BS from Urbana University as a licensed social worker.
She was married to Michael Scott Young, Sr.
She is survived by her children Michael Scott Young, Jr., Eric Young, Anissa Mills (Tony Wallace), Amber (Carlos Ragland), Tina Hardy; her grandchildren Chris Mills, Brittany Young, Jullian Mills, Ashley Hobbs, La'Star Ragland, Quinton Hobbs, Yvan Young, Demettius, Tharen Young; here sisters Martha Senior (Dale Senior), Patricia Stephens, Crystal Brown; numerous nieces and nephews; extended grandchildren and family.
She was preceded in death with a special note to her sister Katy Cross; niece Ebony Stevens and nephews Derek Senior and Nosa Davis.
Georgeanne will be laid to rest on Saturday, October 26, 2013.
Visitation will be held 9:00 am until time of service at 10:00 am in Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1171 Yellow Springs St. with Pastor Carl Hutchins officiating.
Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Springfield,Ohio.
