You can also email me at danmeyer388@gmail.com to get quicker responces from me. I am not on the message board very much. I will be glad to help out if I can with your research.

They immigrated to Mercer County Ohio near the modern day town of Maria Stein. They had one child, his name was John Brackman, born around 1845. Elisabeth died giving birth to John. John Henry Brackman died in a cholera epidemic in the 1850's, I think 1854. John Henry Brackman and his wife Elisabeth are both burried in Maria Stein at St. John's cemetary behind St. John's church. There son John Brackman married Caroline Overman. They had several children, including my grandfather Henry Brackman who married Anna Luebke.
I was searching the Rutherford B. Hayes obit list and I found 2 obits that I would like to have a copy of. I went to the ordering section of the website and was directed to the Minster Obituary File. There is not a way to order the obits from here. The deaths were both in 1893, they have no obits online for that year. Does anyone know what is the best way or who to contact to obtain a copy of these obits? I only have the dates of death there is no other info on the Hayes site as to what newspaper or where the obit info came from.
Thank you

Hi,
I am a Williams and am desperately trying to find anyone who might have any old pictures of Clyde Everett Williams, or his parents Alexander Williams and Rebecca Jane Adams. Alexander lived 1860 - 1935, Rebecca Lived 1864 - 1926, and Clyde lived 1889 - 1932 both in the Auglaize County, Ohio area (mostly Goshen Township).

Unfortunately my family line through Clyde does not have any pictures of these three. Clyde would be my great grandfather. I would appreciate any information or pictures. I have some of others in this line I could share if you are interested. Please email me at ashwilli33@gmail.com if you are interested.
Thanks,
A. Williams

Mary C. Baker, teacher at Hoophole Academy ? Deep Cut School ?

Recently I found a reference to a Mary C. Baker who taught at Hoophole Academy in Auglaize County, Ohio. Was this in St. Mary's? This Mary was a greatgrandmother to me. She taught until she was married to Hiram Wagner, my great(several times) grandfather. The reference said her father Jacob lived close to Deep Cut. Could this have been what they now call the "Deep Cut" school? Does anyone have any history on either Hoophole Academy or Deep Cut School?

I am looking for information on the ancestry of Joseph Keleinhenz, born around 1811 in Motten, Bavaria. He married Maria Meiner, also of Germany but location unkown.
