Thank you, Jim! Well, that Henry Taylor is not the "ggg grandfather" born in 1787, died in 1845, but...
His son, William Taylor did have a son named Henry, born in 1844. I have nothing on him, other than he was in the 1850 census in Duchouquet living with Jane (Smith) Taylor, age 6 (and all her other children.)
Also, Henry's son, Samuel C. Taylor, m. Lydia Jane Powell 23 Apr 1855, also had a son named Henry Taylor, born 1858. He is age 2 on the 1860 census in Washington, Auglaize, with Samuel and Lydia. Samuel and Lydia are both buried in Olive Branch Cemetery. They had 7 children, but I have little information on them: James, b. 1856, Henry, b. 1858, Frank Marion, b. 1859, Alonzo (Lon) b. 1860, Ruth Ella, b.1861, Cora Bell, b. 1863, and Samuel, b. 1865.
You are wonderful for looking this up for me! May I ask if you have the sources on CD? I am just curious, as I have so many ancestors in that vicinity.
Thank you again for your time and research - very much appreciated!
Blessings,
Sheri Taylor Bockelman
