Christian and Katharina Eisenhut are my great, great, grandparents. As I'm working on my genealogy, I've been unable to find the maiden name of Katharina Eisenhut. They both were born in Hesse-Darnstadt, Germany about 1811. They came to America about 1851 or 1852. Their two youngest children were born in the United States. Margaret Eisenhut about 1852 in New York and Mary Eisenhut about 1855 in Ohio. Their two oldest children, Katherine Eisenhut Stroh, born July 13, 1842 and George William Eisenhut, born July 22, 1844, were born in Hesse-Darnstadt, Germany.
