Charles Crozier Hale was my great grandfather. Born Feb 3, 1868 in Troy, OH, d. May 8, 1933 in Los Angeles apparently while on assignment at Hoover Dam construction. Married Mary Slife on May 24, 1890 in Wapakoneta OH. Born Apr. 14, 1870 Auglaize Co, OH d. Cleveland, OH Jan 25, 1929. Both are buried in Greenlawn Cemetery in Tiffin, OH.
His father was George Washington Hale b. May 7,1840 in Montgomery Co., VA according to the death notice in the Wapakoneta Democrat March 19, 1908. He died on Mar 17, 1908. His wife Freelove Taylor Hale b.Dec 17 1842 Adams Mills, Cass Twp, Muskingum Co., OH, d. 1-13-1916 in Lucas Co, OH. Both are buried in Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta, OH.
