I did find James in the death records index Dec 24, 1871. He was listed as James Mahorney instead of Mahoney. Also found him in the 1870 and 1860 census which you probably have but there was an age discrepency in 1870. They had him as 30 in both census. Did find one of his sons, Amos buried in Greenlawn Cemetery outside Nelsonville. Amos1859-1908, Edith 1874-1960, Florence 1888-1928. Mary 1860-1922. Ran out of time and didn't get their obits. Couldn't find James or his wives in any of the cemetery books. There has to be more info out there somewhere! Will keep looking.
