Subject: Charle Fogle, Co-Author of Washington County (Ohio) Underground Railroad Passes Away

Dear Colleagues,

I am very sad to report that my lifelong friend Charlie Fogle, co-author of WASHINGTON COUNTY UNDERGROUND RAILROAD, has passed away suddenly from a heart attack. Charlie was known and loved in Marietta for his longtime involvement with AA and other social causes. He was a great researcher, writer, photographer, artists and computer graphics designer. His work contributed a great deal to preserving the history of the Underground Railroad in Washington County, Ohio.
