I am looking for the following people: William Jones who married a Martha (maybe Kirkwood) and their son was James Jones who married Margaret Campbell.

I have found these peole also on the Mormon website with the following information:

William H. Jones married Martha J. Kirkwood 28 July 1870 in Athens Co., OH.

James J. Jones born 28 August 1871 Trimble Twp., Athens Co., OH.

From family information we know that James Jones married Margaret Campbell towards the end of the 1890's and they had at least 4 children: Asa Jones b. 1897; Merle Jones b. 1909; Pansy (Pat) Jones born 1911; Wilda Jones and Mary Jones. They were all born in Ohio, Merle in Haydenville (Hocking Co) and Pansy in Nelsonville (Athens Co). The family all moved to Wyandotte, Wayne County, Michigan.

From James Jones' death certificate and funeral home information we know that his parents were William Jones and Martha--no maiden name given. Unfortunately, the birthdate doesn't quite match--the informant was James' oldest son and he reported the date to be 6 August 1870.

From the Ohio death records index online I found:

William H. Jones died 25 July 1930 in Hocking Co., OH
Martha Jones died 16 November 1916 in Hocking Co., OH.
