Many Attend Funeral For Accident Victim
Chauncey-One of the largest funerals ever held at Floodwood was htat of Ves Vurley, age 39, employee of Chauncey Mine No. 25, who was fatally injured when struck by a truck on the Chauncey-Nelsonville Highway Saturday night. The services were held in the Floodwood Church at 2 o'clock Tuesday and the body was brought to Chauncey for burial in the Nye Cemetery.

Burley is survived by wife Ethel, a 12 year old daughter Waivalene, his step father, William Burge, and three half sisters Avril, Enid an dHelen. His parents died a number of years ago.
