I went to my Uncles today and found out that there was two mines, #26 and #28 there were places up the hollow named Buffalo Walor(sp?) like you walor in the mud....and Hell's half acre and Seldom Scene. They had a huge row of company houses called Long Row and further up was two rows so it was called double row. The names of some familes were Jaspers (Kate) and Vincent(Johnny), this is turning out to be so much fun!!
