My Great, Great Grandfather was Daniel Bailey. My families records also show Martillery Long and sometimes Price. The Bailey Family lived in Jefferson Twp., Adams County, on Wintersteen Run, between Blue Creek and Wamsley. I am elated to find others with family history and would gladly share the information I presently have or that which I might find in the future.

My records show a John Bailey who had a son John Bailey, Jr married to a Martilery Long, Who in turn had a son Daniel Bailey born May 22, 1842. JB,Jr and ML were born in Pennsylvania. May be the folks you are looking for. I have the decendents for Daniel. All my records just show Adams County, Ohio

John Bailey married Martilera Martin. They moved from Belmont Co., Ohio to Adams Co. Need info on this family, especially their son Alta Bailey

Elma (Alma) Bailey my wife's (Judith Rogers) grandmother was the sister of Birdie Bailey your grandmother. I would like to fill in some empty places in my records and will try to contact you sometime this summer when we are up there.

I have been reading about the Bailey's I have been looking for and the name Webb draws my attention. Edna Bailey married a Pistole and his mother's family were Heizer's from Brown Co. A couple of the daughters I believe married Webb's and moved to around Blue Creek in Adams Co. They are buried in the Copas Cem. Would lkie to correspond with you to see if they are the same family.
