Searching for information about my gggrandfather,WILLIAM LEACH, b. 18 Sep Anne Arrundel County, MD. His first wife was ESTHER ELIZABETH MITCHELL, b. abt 1805-10 Anne Arrundel County, MD. d. 1838, OH. They had 4 children: Thomas, b. abt. 1830-31, MD; Benjamin F., b. 1833, MD; Mary A, b 1834, OH; Catherine Jane, b. 1836, OH.

William's second wife was SUSAN MAHONY, b. VA, abt 1820. They married May 8, 1840, Guernsey County, OH;. Had 3 children: Sarah R, b. 1842; William W., b 1846;Robert Acel or Acel Robert, b. 1848. They were all listed in the 1850
Somersett Twp, Belmont County. William died 09 Nov 1852, possibly still in Belmont County.

With as many as 7 children to raise, Susan probably remarried but I have no information to support that.
