I have a George Glasure (spellled many ways) that married a lady by the name of Workman.George had 5 children born either in Belmont of Jefferson Co.Ohio.His wife was not listed in the 1840 census with him so I assume she died between this and 1835. His children were born in 1824-1826-1828 and 1835.
A strange thing-I found George in the 1840 census of Belmont from the census reel but unless his name was transcribed on the census that Belmont has on line as CROZIER in Bellair Village he isn't listed. On the census I found he was on the last one on a page -9 houses from the Campbell schoolhouse. His first son was called David. Could his wife have been a dau. of a David Workman?
