Hoping that someone can tell me what records (newspaper, church, etc.) might be available for the Richland area between 1840 and 1850.

I know that my ancestor, William Cash, lived (and died) there. Previously we believed that he had died in 1830. However, recent discovery of his Revolutionary War pension records indicates that he was still receiving payments in 1839. Additionally, I think I find him living with his son (William,Jr.) in Richland in 1840.

Now I'm wondering where I should turn next for research. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
