My father, John 'Jackie' Silk, was born in Fort Yates, ND. His mother's name is Martha Silk, the eldest of 10, born circa 1901.
I'm her granddaughter, and I'm trying to obtain in history of the Silk's and Hulsey's before these two families were bound when my Great-grandmother and Great-grandfather married around 1898.
