I know of a school in the area called the Hammel School. My grandfather attended it in the early 1900's. It was near Hannover (an unincorporated area west of Center). I have an image from I would guess circa 1908. My grandfater is pictured in it and looks to be around 10-12 year old. Mrs. Bigelow is not named in the picture.
