I am looking for information about my grandmother’s family. Her name was Mabel Josephine Julesberg and she was born approx. 1902 to John A Julesberg and Mathe (Martei/Mattie) Julesberg in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Her siblings were George “Conrad”, Ella O, Anna Louisa, Ole A and Andy.

My grandmother’s father (John A Julesberg/Julsberg) immigrated from Norway approx. 1880 and her mother (Mathe/Martei/Mattie) immigrated from Norway approx. 1890. They were married in La Crosse, Wisconsin approx. 1893 and moved with 4 children from La Crosse to Tagus, North Dakota, between 1902 and 1905 and had two more sons (Ole and Andy).

My grandmother’s brothers passed away without having children (I believe). So, I am looking for any children/relatives from my grandmother’s sisters – Ella O (born approx. December 5, 1898 in La Crosse) and Anna Lousia (born approx. May 3, 1900 in La Crosse). I do not have their married names.

I have been to St. Olaf Cemetery and have found the burial sites for John and Mattie Julesberg/Julsberg and their 3 sons, but not the daughters. My grandmother (Mabel) is buried at Sand Hill Lutheran in MN, but I do not know where to look for information of Ella O and Anna Lousia.

I cannot find any information on them past a census in 1930.
