Looking for contact with decendents of George Christ Rey, who farmed & raised family in Henrietta & Golden Glen Twps (per 1910, 1920 & 1930 Census). He was widowed prior to 1920, left w/8 children - Clarence, b. 1906, Leona b. 1908, George b. 1909 (died as infant), Arthur b. 1910, Herbert, b. 1914 (died in WW II) and triplets Dorothy, Doris & Doreen, b. 1916.
His mother, Pauline, & my ggrandmother, Caroline, were sisters, nee Zwirn, who immigrated from Germany to Illinois 1877-1880.
My info is fairly sketchy so any help appreciated.

George Christ Rey b. 4 Apr 1881, d. Feb 1969 according to the SSDI - the MN death index shows this; died Mower county, mother's maiden name 'Swirn' (sic). A probable brother of his, John, also died in MN (mother's maiden name Zwirn, b. 02/29/1888, d. 10/21/1963)

A possiblity for Arthur b. 1910 would be the one b. 07 Apr 1910, SSN issued MN, d. Nov 1981 last residence Lisbon, Ransom, ND.

George Rey was my maternal grandmother's brother. She was Fannie Rey Siedschlag. I have a wonderful family picture of them with their siblings and parents that I could email to anyone interested in it.

Hi. I think I have that picture also but you can email it to me if you want. Do you have the names listed on your picture?
We kind of guessed at the reunion, as we knew the years they were born. Thanks.

Hi Bev,

I know I haven't corresponded with you in some time. Lots of things got away from me as I tried to navigage through my family tree. I have some info you could probably pull down from Ancestry.com looking at "Jim & Diane Marxen Family Tree 2009". Already it's getting out-of-date.

A couple of years ago, you said that you had some Zwirn photos. I posted photos of Pauline, Frederika, and Caroline to Ancestry - and some of the Cassens family as well.

I tried you email, but it was kicked back. You can email me at jrmarxe@hotmail.com
