***
Ed and Annie
CLARK RUNK were in Haynesville,
Pratt, KS in 1885 KS State Census with her brother Charles
CLARK(bn 1873,
Kansas) who would travel to Billings/Golden Valley; their brother, William Henry
CLARK(bn 1868 KS) (My GGrandfather) and his wife Lottie Rose
DAVIS HEILAND CLARK (bn 1874 PA)would follow with his family in 1905/06 and settle in Sentinel
Butte. Her two children from her first marriage Edgar B. HEILAND, Frances L. HEILAND and their first son Roy
Jurden CLARK (all born in KS). The rest of their children would be born in Sentinel
Butte, some at Annie's home.
I believe Annie and Ed met in
Cherokee County, KS, Ed's brother
Addison RUNK was living there with his family, and Lottie's family was in
Lyon TWP and
Columbus in
Cherokee County, KS.
In 1914/15 time frame, Lottie moved back to
Kansas with seven of the children. William took off with Roy and lived in
Kidder County, ND. Charles stayed in the area for awhile and would meet up with William.
It would be 53 years before Roy would meet up with his siblings in CA, at my parents home.
* I have a copy of the Death Certificate.
