I checked the following resources for this marriage and did not find anything. "Abstract of Marriage Records Burleigh County North Dakota" and "Index Marriage Records Morton County" both of these compilations were done by the Bismarck Mandan Historical and Genealogical Society. But there are many missing early marriage records particularly in Burleigh County where marriages were recorded as early as 1874. Some of these early marriage record books have been lost.

I also checked the Bismarck Tribune newspaper which has been digitized by genealogybank.com for the years
1885-1900 and did not find this marriage.

I would suggest contacting the Catholic Churches in the Bismarck area to see if they married there. The church records may be the only place you will find this marriage record and the only place to find birth/baptisms.
