My husbands mother was a Lewis, Maggie Ellen, from Ashe Co., NC. West Jefferson. Her parents were James Roby and Marcie Trivette Lewis. They lived on the land that was bought by the Nature Conservancy when Granny Marcie died.You go up by the golf course and they are buried on that hill on the right. Then when you get to the end of the golf course road you turn right and go to where the road goes up the mountain, another road goes to the right. You want to go up the mountain and at the end of that road on a big hill was their place. Roby's father is unknown but his mother was Charity Lewis and her father was James Lewis.
