When my great grandmother Diemma Jones Cairel married for the second time, she listed her place of birth as North Carolina. Her father was William Jones and mother Katherine Noody Jones. Would you look to see if William and Katherine are listed in your book? Thanks.

I am looking to verify my greatgrand parents marriage. Their names are Frances N. Brodie(wife)& David Mitchell (husband). They were born between 1864 and 1867 in Franklin Co, NC.
I found them in the 1900 census in Louisburg Township with two of their children (Joseph& Mattie L. Mitchell). At that time, they reported having 5 children.
David listed his birthdate as May, 1867 and Frances' birthdate as March, 1867.
I will greatly appreciate any and all information you can share with me.

The book covers up to the Civil War, so it wouldn't have a marriage record for someone born in the 1860's. I looked up the names anyway, and there are no BRODIE names at all, and no DAVID MITCHELL. Good luck with your research.

Would you mind looking to see if there are marriage records for John C. Smith to Sarah McMillan. Believed that they married around 1834. Have NO idea where, but believed to be NC, GA or AL. Since both were born in NC, I believe it is a safe bet that they were married there. THANK YOU!
