I am looking for help with the family of STEPHEN and ELIZABETH DAVIS of Wilson, NC (probably Black Creek Township). I have them listed as the deceased parents of EDWIN DAVIS when he married PIETY HINNANT (dau. of MABRY HINNANT and RILDA MORRIS HINNANT) on November 24, 1890. RILDA HINNANT was the only parent living at the time of this marriage and the wedding was held at her home in Black Creek. I cannot find EDWIN listed with his parents in any census records for 1880. He was listed as 18 years old at the time of his marriage, as was PIETY. I am looking for siblings and other lines that may have pictures and other information to share on this DAVIS line. Witnesses for the marriage were listed as: ELIAS LUCAS of Black Creek, SUMERLAND PARRISH of Black Creek, and EZELL BASS of Black Creek.
