I am trying to find information on John Scott Smith and his wife Sallie Grace Cooper. They were the parents of my grandfather Henry F. Smith believe to have been born in Wilkes County NC in 1877. I believe John was born in Wilkes County around 1845 and Sallie in Tennessee at about the same time. Henry married a Mallie B. Boone in Cumberland County, NC about 1898. There might have been at least one other child born to John and Sallie Smith, a son named John. Any information that might shed light on this couple would be appreciated. Thanks
