We are searching for info on the parents of our grandfather William Thomas MAYS, born in 1882 in Avery County. His parents were Mary Elizabeth MAYS and Mac KEATON. Mary Elizabeth MAYS was born in Watauga Co. on July 24, 1866. Can anyone direct us to data for her parents? -- James Monroe MAYS (1847-1904) and Sallie Nelson (1842-1913). We have been looking on the internet but get lost (of course!!). Any suggestions as to websites for this Data? Thanks
