I am seeking information on Lou (aka Lauretta or Louisa) Barlow who married Hardy Foster about 1883. Per information in the book "Grandfather Community," Hardy Foster was a resident of the community and he may have married Lou Barlow Wright? Per the 1900 Census, Lou Foster was living in the Watauga Township, Watauga County, NC with her two sons, Hardy (Hardy Harrison Lincoln Foster-Born:1884) and Isaac (Isaac Grady Foster-Born: 1890). Lou was widowed. Both sons moved west and I've found death information for both but I can not find a marriage record for Lou Barlow and Hardy Foster, nor any further record for Lou after the 1900 Census. I've also searched the surname Wright but have found nothing there, either. I believe Lou was the daughter of Calvin Barlow (of Watauga County), and will appreciate any information for Lou Barlow Foster or her husband, Hardy Foster. I don't know whether she was married to a Wright before marrying Hardy Foster or if she married a Wright after Hardy died (apparently before 1900).
