Per The Heritage of Caldwell County 1983 page 352 Richard born about 1740 in NJ married Eleanor Sullivan. He settled near present day Green Park Hotel. He died about 1818. His children: Jeremiah, Richard Jr., John called Moccasin, Eleanor, Amos, Joseph, Benjamin, and Isaac.
