Thank you so much Nancy. My mother Helen Rogers (Steele) passed away in Feb 2004 and she was our family story teller, but mom never passed any other information on about her grandfather or grandmother or talk about them other than the fact they lived in or near Raleigh NC.

I know for a fact that Early Robert Rogers, my grandfather was indeed born on Oct 14, 1882 as it was in his obituary my sister found. We have a local learning center here in York, PA and maybe they can help me. I saw the Early L Rogers, but things were not not adding up like children, etc.

All three of mom's brothers died before her and one of them had good records that are gone also. There are a few of my cousins somewhere in the Richmond VA area, but I've lost touch with them.
