My 3rd great grandparents are Theophilus Carlton and Elizabeth Welch who descend from John "Buck" Carlton and Ephraim Wesley Welch.

The Carltons migrated to Scott County Illinois and the Welchs migrated to Tennessee.

My 2nd great grandmother Lucy Carlton was native american according to my grandpa who met her once before she died and from other family who knew her. My grandpa looks almost full blooded indian and my mom and I have native features.
