DANBURY, NC - Carlis W. Bullins of
Danbury, NC, age 83, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Bullins was born in
Stokes County to the late Johnnie and Bessie
Bullins.
Carlis worked as a farmer, carpenter and retired from the
Stokes County EMS. He was War War II veteran and a lifetime member of the V.F.W. post 5953. Mr. Bullins was a member of the North View Primitive
Baptist Church.
Mr. Carlis W. Bullins is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Herbert and Irene
Bullins and Tommy and Darlene
Bullins. Five grand children; Crissie and Jason
Dixon, Megan
Bullins, Greg and Cherie
Bullins, Shannon and Aaron
Shaver and Brandy and Brandon
Robertson. Six great-grandchildren;
Alix and
Addy Shaver, Tiffany and
Kenzie Bullins,
Reagan Dixon and
Austin Robertson, One sister; Clarice
Tucker.
Mr. Bullins was preceded in death by his parents, wife;
Esker R. Bullins one grandson; Chad Bullins; four brothers; Ralph, Cazzie,
Rudolph and Clarence "Tance"
Bullins.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., at North View Primitive
Baptist Church with Rev. Milton
Gunter officiating with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery with full military honors by the American Legion, Post 290 of King. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m., at Cox-Needham Funeral Home in
Danbury. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to; North View Primitive
Baptist Church, 1105
