Am seeking anyone with info. they would like to share on the Hammond, Lomax/Lomack family connections. I have traced them to the late 1700's in Robeson and Cumberland Counties listed as Free Persons of Color, (Mulatto/Black). One Dicey Hammond had a daughter named Rachel who married Enoch Lomax/Lomack. Rachel and Enoch's fathers were both Revolutionary War Veterans. Thanks!
