You already know the following information,
but I am putting it here for the sake of other
Robeson Co. researchers interested.
Leeoda (Oda) Lovett was b. 3/1891 the daughter of
Henry C. (Pinkney) Lovett and wife Ollie. She married
Edward Cox (b. abt 1887, son of Gilbert Cox and Drucilla
Bullard) in about 1906.
Henry C. Lovett was the son of William Lovett and
Abigale Ivey. He went by Pinkney. He and wife Ollie
had 12 children in all.
William Lovett was born in 1836, the son of
Benjamin Lovett and Malsey Barnes. Wife Abigale
Ivey was born about 1830, the daughter of Theophilus
Ivey and Seneth Britt.
Gilbert Cox (b. 1850) was the son of Harmon Cox and
Esther Ivey. I don't know who Harmon's parents were,
but it's likely that Esther's mother was Charity Ivey
and her sister was Basheba Ivey (see below).
Drucilla Bullard was the daughter of Rev. William B.
Bullard and Basheba Ivey. Basheba Ivey (b. 1804)
was the daughter of Charity Ivey (b. 1775). The
Bullards were close friends with, and lived near,
several of the Watts folks.
That's a brief top-level overview of the families in my
Cox line that I've mapped out so far. If anyone is interested in more, feel free to contact me.
