I will be glad to send information as I get it. I have a meeting with my first cousin, who essentially inherited first rights to many of the documents contained in the family home in Red Springs. My mother only received a few documents and those are mostly letters between McKinnons during the Civil War. My cousin has been trying to digitize these records, but he is aging and does not have the time. I will let you know if I find anything on the Henderson line. My mother did a great deal of research into the McNeill line of my family and traced that back to Scotland. The McEachern line interests me because of my ancestors involvement in the Battle of Battery Wagner made famous in the movie Glory (served in 51st NC Infantry). Also this has been my only solid lock to Scotland. My Monroe line unfortunately had many of our records and past destroyed in Sherman's March through NC.
I do know that my cousin paid to have a researcher find links back to Scotland through his family. Maybe some information on the Henderson line will be in the documents I analyze. I attached a few pictures of Jenette Hendersons grave as it stands. It was one of the graves that was buried. I was unable to do any further archiving at the sight as I have had severe hip issues at the age of 27 :-(. I hope this helps. I am glad to hear there are others who keep up the cause of uncovering and preserving the past.
As I type this I remember that my mother still attends the annual homecoming at Lumber Bridge Presbyterian Church. She told me that most of the records were lost when the church was burned by Sherman's men. However a Mormon church in the area managed to retain some documents and I will see what she has.
Best of luck and hope this helps.
