I am looking for the line of Willis Hammonds Bertie Co. 1775 and particularly his mother's surname, Martha _____. Williamson Hammonds changed name to Haman when moved to Georgia and settled in South Georgia, Wilkes and Turner County, GA. Additionally, family rumor is that Hammonds/Haman line is Lumbee Indian. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
