I was born in NC on 4/10/64. I may have been born in Rockingham County. But, I know my birth parents came from Robeson County.

My nickname when I was in foster care was Baby Polly. I was the second out-of-wedlock child born to this birth mother. The first was also a girl. I was adopted when I was a few months old to a couple in Carteret county.

I'm told my birth mother's family are "rather prominently connected". I personally don't understand what that means. But, I'm hoping someone else does, and it could help lead me to the family I was born into.

My birth mother had two sisters and a brother, and my birth father had a younger sister and brother. My birth mother's father died when she was six years old. He was a native of South Carolina.

My birth father's father also died when he was young.
