Pickett McIntosh, born 1830 in NC (probably around Rockingham, RIchmond Co.) is my gggrandfather and I have been searching for nearly 20 years for his parents. Pickett's mother is said to have been a Leak; he is said to have been an only child/son and to have moved to MS with relatives named McInnis. He married Martha Ann Halford about 1850, probably in Jasper Co., MS, and they had one son and five daughters. He died in 1906 in Jones Co., MS. I do have some clues and have copious notes on all the McIntosh, Leak, and Pickett families who lived in and near Richmond Co. during the applicable years. I'd really appreciate any help anyone can give and I'll be glad to share what I know about descendants.
